Meetings |

|
|
General meetings are
held on the 3rd Monday of each month (except December), at the Clubhouse
beginning at 6:30
pm. Meetings
begin with social time from 6:30 pm
to 7 pm.
At 7 pm the members enjoy a potluck
dinner followed by
a
program related to boating,
the local environment, and topics of
interest to our group.
After the program
concludes,
usually in 30 to 45 minutes, there is
a short business meeting to discuss upcoming
activities and projects.
Activities are ongoing,
ranging from social events within our club and
cruises taken several times a month. Additionally "work
days" are periodically scheduled for grounds and general club maintenance
providing yet another opportunity for good fellowship that also helps to
reduce our club’s expenses.
Several
times a year Club members help with
clean up of the Silver River under
the direction of Captain Vince Druding.
The
Ocala Boat Club is
commited
to helping keep the water of Marion
County clean and safe
for everyone.
