Anyone
interested in membership to the Ocala Boat Club is encouraged to attend our
monthly meeting on the 3rd Monday of each month except December. At
the meeting you will have a chance to meet current members, enjoy our
potluck and decide if you would like to join our group.
A
prospective member must attend three club events, consisting of two
meetings and a
cruise.
New members are sponsored
by an active member of the Club, and are always encouraged and welcomed.
After these three events, and if there is a desire to join the Club, a
membership application is submitted along with a minimal application fee of
$10.00 per person. Member
applications will be acted on by the club's Board of Directors
at their meeting following submission.
Annual dues are very reasonable. Dues for 2010 are $50 per person or $100 per family which includes husband and wife and any children under the age of 18 years.
